My laser skips in the same place every time when cutting circles or ovals. This only happens when I’m NOT in beginner mode. When in beginner mode it cuts fine.
Perhaps Tabs are turned on?
If not, then if the ends of circles are not meeting, it’s likely due to mechanical backlash. A careful tuneup with attention to getting everything snug & square will improve the results:

That’s for a Sculpfun, but the mechanics are pretty much the same for all desktop lasers.
