No matter what I do I can’t get my X-Tool to work correctly with the Lightburn software. It moves opposite of the onscreen controls front to back, burns reversed (lt to rt) and upside down like the front of my machine is the back. I try to home it with the limits switches enabled and it reaches the end and keeps moving with a chattering of the belts until it stops. That is in the Y direction, front to back. All of this means I can’t accurately use any centering modes with reliability. Thanks Chris
Did you use the xTool provided .lbdev file to setup your device? Your symptoms indicate otherwise.
In Edit->Device Settings your Origin setting should be set to top-left. I suspect yours is set to bottom-left based on stated symptoms. You can change it there. However, I’d suggest you recreate the device using the .lbdev file from xTool as you’re likely missing other configurations.
Thank you. I am going to try all of that. I did delete my device and reinstall it with the link you have. I hit the up key and it started moving the correct way. I had to change my wire locations bc it was hitting at the far back of the machine. When I came back it was acting the same way. I think what you said about the origin settings could be the problem. I appreciate your feedback.
