I have a video of my problem in My Google Drive and here is the link: HUGO'S VIDEO 2-2.MOV - Google Drive
I am using a 40W XTOOL S1 and The problem started when I tried to enter the Z DISTANCE FROM THE MATERIAL TO THE LAZER MODULE BY CLICKING “MOVE” ENTERING THE DISTANCE VALUE THAT WAS M313Z 41.577 (I ROUND IT OFF TO 41.58) AND WHEN I CLICKED ON THE DOWN ARROW TO FOCUS THE LASER MODULE IT MADE A LOUD GRINDING NOISE!!! AND IT SHOVED THE LASER INTO THE MATERIAL (AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE VIDEO).
After I erased all the information on the computer, rebooted the computer and started the Lightburn clean. The problem still persists and XTOOL TECH SUPPORT HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO HELP ME AT ALL!!!
I am using Baltic Birch 1/8" on top of the honeycomb panel on the highest level of the riser base (just as if I was not using a riser base at all) the setting for the material at that height is 1/2" but I am using 1/8" so it’s way thinner + I have done a couple of projects before this problem arose……
I need professional advice not what I am getting from Xtool tech support (keep sending me to FAQ or links that don’t resolve my specific problem!!!).
Thanks much!
Hugo
