Y axis error and well within work area

i have an omtec 80 watt working area is 26x 15 my design is well within that peramiter and i keep getting this error please help

Is the error on your machines console or within Lightburn?

What exactly does the error say?

Give us some idea of what’s going on… remember we know absolutely nothing about what’s going on at your end and I’d rather not guess.

I will take one guess, the scan rate (speed) is driving the head out of the working area. For this to be a Y error, you’d have to be scanning with a 90/270 deg value.

im doing a passthru ive done befre no problem now im getting this

sorry the message is on laser

Y AXIS OUT OF SCALE

Suggest you use preview, enable show transversal moves and ensure it’s not going out of the work area in the Y direction … actually any direction.

I’ve only see that particular error with a Ruida and a rotary, but it was going out of the work area.

If you don’t mind posting the .lbrn2 file, I’ll try and run it on mine, a 5030.

Its in 4 files all are broke up into 4 equal boxes of 20x14 my work are is 28x16 and the first 2 cut fine its when i get to the 3rd box it gives me this error

Did you use preview?

:smile_cat:

yes sir and it shows everything is in the window

I’m out of ideas and will have to think on it.

Maybe @gilaraujo or @Rick may know what’s going on.

belive me my heads about to explode

Do you mind posting the art, so I can attempt to duplicate the issue?

Let me see if i have a copy im at work

lakinwalllight.lbrn2 (609.3 KB)
SEE IF THIS WORKS THIS WAS A COPY I SENT TO CUSTOMER

Can’t get it to fail at my end. I’m not sure if I’m doing what you are doing.

Can you ship me a .lbrn2 file that just has the failing part, as you run it and I’ll try it again?
