Y axis is not working

New user here. Have MecPow x3 with Lightburn on HP Pavilion Windows 11.

It appears that my laser is only engraving and cutting along the X axis.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a name tag copied from a tutorial, a simple shape, or a svg file. All I get is a laser thin cut.

The laser head is going through the motions but only horizontally.

Any advice?

Check for bad connections.

You could also try your laser reset button.

Thanks. As I was checking the connections, I noticed that the person who assembled the MecPow did not thread the rubber track over the gear spindle. Problem solved. :tada:
