Is it possible to use the LightBurn z axis control for simple 2D engraving. I have just bought the Eleksmaker z axis kit with the motor engraver and wondered if it is possible to engrave simple 2d lettering i.e the same as i would burn with my laser but with extra passes to deepen the engraving/cutting. Would the control lift the cutter clear of the workpiece when finished etc.
I have had a read through the search posts but i cannot find if anyone has managed to do this.
