Deadboltdon

A-D-D best describes me!
Up until a few years ago I never touched a CAD program. Then I had a bright idea to build a CNC machine to carve and eventually add my plasma torch to. Because I don’t have a real garage to work in (I have a small workshop that I can heat slightly in the winter) I don’t get a lot of “seat time” with it.
Truth be told it sits in my living room (I have a very forgiving wife) :kissing_heart:
I decide a few years back to try my hand at Hobby Lasering. But I work to much and have a limited attention span so I really haven’t used it much.
I had a girl at work ask if I could burn some cutting boards for Epicure promos/christmas gifts. As well I have a moped guy down the road I made a custom mash up board for Christmas gift this year.
These turned out well, and re-lit the fire to play with the laser while it is cleaned off. But I have come to realize my A-D-D kicks in while designing and I either over complicate or can’t decide WHAT to actually do next.
I found once I had request and some artwork I was able to design better but still get carried away.
How and where to sell are constantly causing mental roadblocks. Next I worry about using copyrighted or some elses art work (even slightly moddified) to make a few extra bucks to invest into the hobby further.
The end goal is to build a garage in the next few years.
