FundyFlutes
I make hand crafted one-of-a-kind Native American style wooden flutes. I make some flutes using Bay of Fundy driftwood. I also make branch flutes and lathe-turned flutes. I have been using the laser etcher to decorate my flutes. Since I make cylindrical objects it makes sense I move to a rotary roller.
I’m a LightBurn newby. I have been using LaserGRBL successfully with my 3018 Pro and the LUMYEE 5.5W laser. But then… I bought a Creality Rotary Roller and LaserGRBL doesn’t not actually have rotary control settings so I am in the process of switching to LightBurn. So far I have had LightBurn (current version) for 10 days or so and have not been able to do anything with it.
Nov./24 I just bought a Creality Falcon 10W laser to replace the 3018, which is heading back to CNC duty. I figured the best way to ensure compatibility with my Creality Rotary Roller (chuck) was to buy a new machine of the same make. Still in the setting up stage with the CR Falcon.
