Hello, I have had my Laser for a while and have played with the Lightburn software on and off. I have engraved some materials ok, some really awful. I’ve tried cardboard, acacia wood (hit and miss), aluminium water bottles, acrylic (more miss than hit),plywood (good to awful). I know I have a lot to learn. My profile photo is actually a Kookaburra I engraved on plywood. I like the burn and texture the wing feathers have.

I have watched lots of youtubers, and became a bit confused with the contradicting information, and became very disappointed in my ability (or lack of).
I am trying the ‘keep it simple stupid’ method and hopefully will get there in the end. I do really enjoy the creative side of laser/lightburn and would like to master acrylic eventually (without the lines melting).
