I’m a retired Industrial Electrician. My last position involved PLC programming, automation integration, VFD drives integration as well as data acquisition on multiple PLC controlled machines for data on uptime, downtime and repair times captured in a MySQL database using networked systems.

My present hobbies are microprocessor programming (think Arduino) and laser cutting/engraving. I also built a wood CNC router from scratch that uses GRBL as the controller.

Just to add… I love the outdoors and ice fishing. And Canada is a great place to do that. Cold climate in the winter maybe, but we have warm hearts.
