I retired after 50 years in the HVAC industry which included building automation systems. After retiring I took a welding class for fun at IvyTech. Decided to get a Welding Certificate so I took some automation classes as electives and was exposed to the stepper motor world. Since then I’ve built a CNC controlled Plasma cutter, have, 2 laser engravers, a cricut cutter, and just started to build a CNC router. I’ve used Autodesk programs since the mid '80s. GRBL is a new world for me but Lightburn was a natural migration.
