Recently turned 50, ex-Para-Commando, ex ICT Manager of Belgian Postal Services, as I was left crippled after botched surgery for an Inguinial Hernia. I’m not the ‘sitting still and doing nothing type’ and as lasers always interested me, I ordered my first one (20Watt diode NEJE laser from Wish.com … with 15x15cm workspace… lol)… I quickly outgrew this device and with a short stop via a 1meter x 1 meter version of the same laser, I decided I needed ‘more’ and ordered a 90x60cm workspace 100Watt CO² Laser, Glass Tube, RUIDA 644sx Controlled machine to teach myself something new (and keep my brain occupied)… I used the OEM software first and after reading an article about Lightburn I immediatly switched and been using this ever since.
I like working with wood , but often use other materials too like foam, cast-acryllic, Glass/Marble/granit (engraving) , even cartboard…
