I am a Model Railroader working in Z-scale(1:220). That’s pretty small consider a figure in Z-scale is 6MM tall, and it’s 6.5MM between the rails. A door on a Z-scale building is 8MM high — you get the picture.

I purchased an ORTUR 5W desktop model to start out, just to learn the ropes. I want to make buildings for my layout, and possibly sell them if the quality is good enough. I did add air assist and an upgraded lens, plus built a box to house my laser. So far I have had some good success.

I am still learning the basics though, and need super precision. Trying to get as much out of this ORTUR as I can, but at some point I suspect I will have to upgrade if I decided to go further, such as selling product.
