I am a retired technologist who has been involved in the maker space for decades. I currently have a laser, CNC and 3D printer, though my experience in 3D printing is stronger. I am also a recreational programmer, who has written games… in at least a dozen languages and platforms.

I live in an over 55 community and have been the Advanced Training director in their woodshop (900 members) for about 5 years. I have also been a ham radio operator since 1972 or so.

I have a NEJE laser at home but access to a Ruida controlled OMTech 80W laser at a woodshop I am part of.
