Tinkerer, builder, and problem-solver. Started on a K40 (heavily modded), ran a MakerMade CNC, and now onto my own builds including a large-format CNC router called teensyTITAN running grblHAL on a Teensy 4.1 with dual Y motors, ballscrew Z, and belt-driven X and Y. Built multiple 3D printers from scratch, most grbl-based, now transitioning to grblHAL where possible. Long-time Arduino user, now digging into Teensy. I design and cut my own PCBs, build custom control boards, mod everything from routers to firmware, and wire everything myself. I cut wood, acrylic, and light aluminum, and run MillMage for CNC and LightBurn for laser. Always spending money, never making it.
