Retired back in 2021, off for about 2 weeks and work called me back - Kovid happened. My work is very different than most, I work in a jail, take mug shots, book the charges on the “crooks”, send them off to other counties or states. Get to see the cities fineish citizens. Before retirement, I had a 5 minute interview with Lowes and the day I was to start, I got the phone call. So far 26yrs at the sheriff’s office.
