Hi, am happy to try help anyone, if the information I can give is sound, if not ill say its a best guess, as never good to send anyone down the garden path.
I am a semi retired engineer, and found that the applications of a home laser can be very useful when making lasers/enclosures themselves accurate cutting of acrylics Etc.
I do have many years experience of Industrial production lasers, and prefer the use of Diode varieties for home use, as Co2 can be pretty horrendous when used without caution. as seen when I was using a 4kw Rofin slab laser, by a now fingerless investigative mind that was curious to see if it was on by passing hand under it, even after the dangers were explained.
I am not so control or electronic knowledgeable, and am getting into making out of the box ready to use in any home environment Diode lasers, that people into arts and craft would find useful, with the main focus for them, being in the learning curve of LightBurn software, rather than the technical set up and expansion, of all the additions that an open frame diode laser needs to make it simple and reliable, and in home friendly.
Its more for the GF to use and for me to try and make a plug and play laser that needs, only LightBurn software experience to be user friendly.
