I am a hobbyist who has gotten frustrated with the limitation of native software. I have an XTool D1 10W diode laser. I have worked on many different materials just to see what I can do. I have engraved wood, cork, glass, silverware (baby’s fork, spoon, knife set), and I have even made a head stone from granite. I do not have any set guidelines for my work as I have not written them down. I am looking to expand my abilities and begin documenting power/speed ranges for the different things I do from here on out. Wish me luck, I do have the saved files in my other software but will need to convert the speed setting for Lightburn.
