I’m a currently out of work System Administrator that used to work for a company that used industrial CO2 lasers to cut 3/4" Maple plywood and stainless steel up to 1/8" thick. I even wrote manual G-Code to create a standard set of etching routines.

I purchased a 40W Creality Solid State laser to put some of my prior experience to work, as a side hustle. I’m still trying out different things and learning the limitations of my equipment, but it has bee fun.
