Woodworking has been a part of my daily life since the 5th grade. I started a small woodworking business in 2006 to make a little side cash. Even though I work in the IT/Governance field from 8-4, woodworking still runs deep in my veins and is just core to my life.
I entered the laser engraving community of woodworkers with a used Laguna PL 12|20 in May of 2020 and recently upgraded to the Laguna Laser MX. No, I can handle cutting of thicker materials with lower power level settings on the machine. The 23" x 35" working area will also help.
Along side the purchase of the lasers, Lightburn software was the best investment I’ve made. So easy to use, so easy to learn and the features are by far the best.
The Lightburn forum/community is becoming my newest family
and I look forward to many years of wonderful exchanges of knowledge.
