I have Lightburn on my Windows11 Desktop in the office and also on a minicomputer Windows11 in the garage cum workshop.
I made a design for a box. The alignment of the text in the office was perfect, but when I opened the same design in the office it was shifted. I work on lb 1.7.07. Both computers are Windows 11. So I wonder what is happening?
I can’t upload the design file as it’s 6Mb
I don’t clearly see what text is not aligning, perhaps you could highlight the difference. What I do see though is your work area is not set the same on both computers.
Have you exported & imported the settings so both PCs use the same configuration?
There was recently a discussion about discrepancies with fonts. I’d try to check out the font you used and copy that font file to the other PC, replacing the one that is there. Maybe there is a difference in the font itself causing a different size.
You’re Spot on Melvin,
I used Dancing Script on both machines. On one machine I duplicated the text and transferred it into a path.
It shows the difference. Now downloaded the font again and installed it on both machines. all is fine now.
Thank you!
