Hi I might be purchasing a 2nd Laser. the one I have is Galvo Fiber, and the other will be a Co2 Galvo, But that I’m wondering is on my fiber Laser I have quite a few setting on the bottom row (like the small colored Squares) used up… and I would like new setting for Co2 Galvo, how could a guy go about that… or am i not under standing it will them setting go away with the new Lazer Profile?
Thanks in advance…
Rather than using layers to store settings, use the Material Library. Your layer settings can. get overwritten by bringing in a file that was saved wit hdifferent settings. The material library gives you practically unlimited setting storage.
I will try that thank You…
the only Problem I’m seeing is the color coding is not the same, I was very used to the color coding…
You can assign the settings to whatever color you want, but you do what works for you.
As to your original question, I think each machine profile will have separate layer settings, but just as a safety net you might want to copy all your layer settings to the material Library before adding the new machine. Then you can have the best of both worlds. You will have an easily recallable set of your settings and if you want to use them with the new machine they are there at the click of a button.
