Pat, you can use a USB thumb drive, iCloud Drive or Google Drive. You could also email the file to yourself.

yes but how do i save and transfer the project file complete with operations etc. both computers are on the same (lost for words to discribe here) so if im able to save project file complete i can save it to my desk top and itll appear on the other computer . but im not sure how to save vertualy a copu of the project ,if i right click on the drop down window of projects it just opens it on computer 1?? i need to save and transfer or migrate to the other computer >>

thanks for you patience ..pat

If you want to migrate the same settings from one MillMage installation to another on a different PC, you can use this guide: Moving MillMage to Another Computer - MillMage Documentation

Then, simply transfering the .mage file from once PC to the other via USB drive, email, google drive, etc - is possible. That .mage file will contain all of your operations.

We have a video describing how to use User Bundles to do this here: User Bundles - MillMage Documentation

I know what you mean Pat. If you are working on your workstation to do the designs and a laptop to connect to the CNC. My workstation is Windows 11 and laptop is Windows 10.

On the desktop maybe you edit things like the tool library, the project file etc, have different fonts etc. I see now from this post you can export user bundles which is great. Pat might have more issues if I understood properly he was using Mac and windows?

It would be handy if you can store your Millmage Workspace files on a share, like onedrive, so it syncs between computers so things like the tool library is common between your computers. Just having a file saved on onedrive/dropbox/samba share gives the some cloud feature without much development. I know this feature would be useful, but there are heaps of features to come that will be amazing, and this is probably not my biggest issue!
