300x300 Lens focused properly cuts and engraves bb ply but won't engrave Glass?

I have set up my 110x110 and 175x175 lenses to cut and engrave bb ply and engrave glass perfectly! My 300x300 lens cuts and engraves bb ply perfectly, but will not etch glass like the other lenses do. I am not sure what to try,any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Jim

When you go from short lens to a long lens the spot size increases. I don’t have a uv machine but just a change from an F100mm to an F110 the spot size changes from 16 microns to 32 microns.

This diameter change spreads the same power over an area 4 times larger, so the user sees 1/4 the power.

Besides focus, this is about all I can think of.

My F420mm (300x300mm coverage) has a spot size of 50 microns.

Put the values into this on-line spot size/depth of field calculator and you can figure them out yourself.

Thanks,will do that today!

Finally got it to engrave focused at 467mm the normal focus distance!! Had to use 50mm/s for speed at 50 MHZ frequency, and .0060 line interval for a nice engrave. Much different than the settings I use on my other lenses.
