3018 speed and acceleration

Hi I have a 3018 and when I adjust the $ settings for speed and acceleration in universal g code sender they work fine with no odd noises. But when I run a program in lightburn my machine axis run to fast and knock and stall.

Any advice please.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve used my 3018 for months along with lightburn all was going well until my control board gave up. Now the laser is totally different to use. I can’t believe how different these boards act.
