30w Laser not firing

Hi

I have a few issues on hand

I’ve got a woodpecker motherboard as well an annoy tool motherboard. Ive got a neje 30w laser module. My lightburn version is 0.8.07

Woodpecker

My first problem is my 30w laser, when plugged into the woodpecker boots up immediately.

1)however the 30w laser does not fire when given a job. Or with the fire button for that matter.

2)also the collaborations are off.
(My engraver size is 1m/1m.) what are the best console settings please.

Here are my console settings

3) my limit switches are not working with the woodpecker motherboard.

Annoy tools

The 30w laser does not boot up when connected to the annoy tools motherboard. However it used to sometime back. But it seems that there is little voltage going through it. It doesn’t fire even when I press the test fire button on the mini board.

Note* when I enter G1 M3 S1000 into the console settings the laser boots up but like on the woodpecker but Much quieter. Still it doesn’t fire!

It seems that my limit switches have stopped working too on the annoy tools board but that was the case before.

My collaborations are working better than the woodpecker. Especially when the laser module is brought to the right corner before it’s turned on.

How do I please get my laser to fire?

There are controllers and there are laser modules. The controllers operate the motors and tell the laser module when to fire. The 30 watt module does not boot, only the controller has software (or firmware) and ‘boots’.

You need to pick which controller you wish to use and stick with it until you get it operational.

The configurations are different … The woodpecker is configured for no homing, whereas the Annoy has homing configured.

The Woodpecker will not ‘home’ if that is turned off

There is also a discrepancy with the homing cycle direction ($23). This tells the machine which way to seek for the limit switch on power up…

As a side note my Woodpecker has the X, Y & Z limit switch inputs mislabeled. It’s Z, Y & X…

Didn’t look any further with your configuration…

Good luck
