3D Slice work not complete

Good evening all,

I’ve a trouble since 2 days with the 3D Slice mode. Until now it was working fine, but now Lightburn generate only between 2 and 5 layers of the depth map as job.

Attached a capture of the preview at the “middle” job, as we can see it’s all black, so theorically all engraved, but in reality, it’s the same state from the beginning.

I’ve tried with two computers, reinstalling the laser, reinstalling Lightburn, installing an older version and so much… But I find nothing to solve this.

Hope someone can help me :slight_smile:

PS: I’ve forget after 3 or 4 layers, depends on job, the laser stop working but Lightburn continue “to work”, but should correspond with the state of the preview… Nothing to do.

As I see, the laser is doing exactly what Lightburn is sending, so sincerly I think that the laser can be excluded. Seems really be an issue with Lightburn, maybe with some parameters, but I can’t find what.

You haven’t give us anything to work with, no settings just a black output, which is fairly common when using 3dslice mode.

We can’t help you unless you give us your settings so we can look at it.

I’m currently trying to engrave it once again, and it seems working without any changes. :thinking::thinking::thinking:

I’ll take a look on this, and I hope I don’t get this issue over more time.
