thankyou for your valuable information on the 50w Chinese co2 laser , i really appreciate it very much. I will have to look into the finance side of a 60w machine on import and customs amounts as i am a pensioner and at this time the laser is still just a hobby.

Sorry guys, this is a hobby machine and another hobby machine - my 3d printer started playing up and it took me a while to get that sorted before coming back to this.
Yep, it cut through 4mm! 
(I don’t have any 5mm pieces to try at the mo)
