? about product key

Hi all

I paid for my LB software today and downloaded lb core 1.7.03 for snapmaker ray, using the 20w module.

The file is zipped and I’m wondering if the product key is to un-zip that file.

I also downloaded the SM Ray firmware to my phone and will send to laptop and load onto SD card and place card into machine control box.

I also downloaded 20w ray profile, Does that stay on the laptop ? or go onto the SD card ?
& will that profile be what I select when I go to ‘devices’ to select a machine.

I’m using a new ‘used’ hp probook and its a bit different in buttons and screen layout than my previous.
I’m only running the laser to mark the max work area on the base board of the enclosure so its set, with machine position squared and marked and I can move on with the enclosure assebly.

LightBurn installer is Not zipped, the key is delivered by email in text form.

I am not certain what this zip file you refer to is, but please download from here:

Use the file in the Devices panel
Click Import

I have the product key 36 characters long.
Thanks for the Doc’s, I’ll give them a good read tomorrow as the eyes/brain were frazzled by the end of today.
