Good morning everyone, so I’m thinking about upgrading my exhaust for the s1 to a 6” ac infinity since they seem to be a very popular option in the laser world. The question is what is the difference between the s6 pro and the regular s6? When selecting between the options on Amazon I can’t tell what the differences between the two models is, and unless the pro has something that’s worth $20 more than the lowest price one I’d rather just get that. How big is the output hole in the S1?
I’m pretty sure the pro, comes with a controller that you can attach to multiple fans and devices, i have the pro in the 8inch version and i have 4 connection slots on the controller, i had ordered the 4inch reg version and it only came with the on\off switch, it is worth in my opinion
I have the S4 pro. The difference between S4/S4 Pro is mostly the speed controller. IIRC, The pro has very slightly higher higher max flow, metal mounting legs, and 10 speed controller. I don’t really love the controller, but that’s personal preference. I"d be fine with a simple switch. I haven’t tried to “hack” it yet, but having to press the button 10 times to cycle from off to desired speed, back to off is a nuisance.
I like having variable speed, but this particular implementation is clunky IMO. I want a simple on/off toggle that remembers previous speed and dial to turn for quick speed adjustment. Its a DC brushless motor, so it’s not like I can just drop in a switch or rheostat. There’s probably a controller out there I could retrofit in but I haven’t looked.
I have no idea which version of that blower I have, but a long press shuts it off and the controller resumes at the same speed when it turns on again.

I suppose we should embrace WiFi-enabled things, but they’re trying to get rid of skeuomorphic stuff on phones, too.
I was wondering about the difference between pro and reg and thought it’d be the controller. I already purchased a pro controller for the light, think it’s 69 pro. Is this the same controller that would come with the cloud line pro or is there another one just for the filter kit?
