I have a sculpfun s 30 10 w laser and I am trying to engrave on acrylic. I have tried different settings and spray painted it black, but can not get anything to engrave. Any suggestions?

You photo did not upload… sometimes a takes a few, so wait until it completes…
Black should absorb the energy from the laser and make some kind of mark.
Usually what causes this is improper focus… double check that

What settings did you use?
If the spots on the black part are cracks, you will have too much power for the speed you are using.
Each machine has is own settings.
I create a topic about my experience with polystyrene (very similar to acrylic), at the beginning I have that same issues. Check it if you interested.
