Are there any plans to add direct support for Affinity Designer files in LB? Rather than having to export svg files, it would be great if LB could just read the .afdesign files like LB does with.ai files.
I can’t speak for LB, but there probably isn’t enough interest to write a import filter for the .afdesign format. It is a compressed format and proprietary.
If you were running a non Chinese laser like Epilog, Universal Laser Systems, or Trotec, you can use the print driver in Affinity to send files to the respective lasers. I have a Universal Laser Systems VLS6.60, and I can do it with Affinity. I have also tested it with the Epilog Dashboard software.
