I Have to restart Lightburn after every part. Anyone else have this issue?
Any more specifics you can give? Is this in rotary mode? Are you using repeat marking, or anything else? Can you show a screen shot of what you see?
I just purchased the same type of machine (5w UV galvo) and Iām having the same problem. Everything was working fine so I thought I would try the rotary but I canāt get it to work. LightBurn does a small part of the job but then stops, the timer keeps going and the status is set to āFramingā.
As itās a new laser I havenāt tried with any other versions apart from 1.7.03.
I believe that itās related to the split because if I change it to a much bigger value then it works.
Thanks
What type of controller? What settings?
The original poster here asked a question and then just ghosted, so itās hard to know what happened.
Itās a BJJCZ - LMCV4-DIGIT
I was running something like .064mm split with 0.032mm overlap, which was a quick way to kill it but even running a 1mm split/0 overlap it still happened, since then I have swapped the rotary driver which seems to have fixed it for the most part, but it still occasionally gets stuck āframingā
Hi, sorry for disappearing. After first issue I reinstalled Lightburn, and a week or so after when I did the job again, I did not have any more issues. So works great with me now.
That āframingā issue is usually a communication problem, like a bad connection, bad usb cable, bad port, etc.
