After I home my machine on the XYZ axis when pressing the “Get Position” button my position is the same as my homing pull-off X1,Y1,Z1. How do I make it 0?
This is firmware defined, you cant change it unless you can get the firmware reflashed
What laser and firmware version?
I am using a DLC32 with GRBL 1.1 the homing pull-off is set to 1mm. I am using it with a 40w k40.
If I set the off-set to 0 it will not home.
Pull-Off is required to clear the switches.
In other words
Laser comes to the switch > touches it > pulls back > then touches it again slowly then parks at the position away enough to not be touching(Engaging the button.
The X0 Y0 location with or without accounting with pulloff is Firmware defined. I don’t recall exact where though. Maybe someone in the MindHive can help
