After software update, laser is moving in reverse or mirrored action

The update threw my maching positioning all out of whack. Now, when I try and move the laser forward any amount of mm, it goes in the opposit direction.

Then, when I send it for a job, it seems to be sending it in a negatively mirrored fashion. Instead of moving forward, it sends to the negative and hits my limit switches. I have videos to show.

I have already changed the origin to every possible setting and tried to send … nothing worked. I reversed the step direction … did not work. Please help.

Try creating a new profile for the machine. Just start from scratch and make a new one.

I saw a couple examples of this problem for other users. Adding a new machine config seemed to fix the issue.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this yesterday, but I’m going to try it again. I’ll completely remove the software, reinstall, and set it up to see if it persists. I’ll provide an update.

Uninstalled, reinstalled, created new profile and set up the machine, set the position to 0.

Now, the direction pad sends in reverse order (forward on x,y goes backward. I can run a job if I set the origin position to the top right corner and user origin (opposite of where it actually is). But when I send, it tells me the cut will be out of bounds, but its not, it just sends everything backwards. I have jobs I need to get done, so I started a job anyway and now the travel of the machine is going all the way to the edge for no reason and still tripping switches. I’ll add pics so you can see the preview. Any help is appreciated.

I hooked up another laptop with lightburn 1.5.1 installed and everything worked fine. Im just going to intall the older version and move on from this headache. It is clearly a software issue for my machine.
