After Switching on Laser keep reseting axes, cant connect to internal storage

Hello group,

i have this strange problem with my CO2 80W Chines laser.
Last time everything run smoothly, today i turned it up laserhead move to end switches then to origin position. But after reaching origin, it will do 2 more times Axes reset with 2 beeps, then it stop. I use USB flashdisk communication, when i pres file to look to internal storage or USB disk the display show no files and keep getting me back to original menu of Ruida or freze
for couple of seconds and show me “Communication failure”.

Everything else seems to work normaly (Menu, settings, arrows for stepers). Only the file menu keeps falling back.

Videos of problem:

Freze : https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ZhsMlG14KwE

Any ideas or tips, what i can do or try?

Thank you for any help, and i wish U wonderfull day.

Some kind of memory corruption?

Is there a USB flash drive currently attached? If so, try again with it removed.

Try reformatting the internal file memory, Page 42-44 in the RDC6445 manual.

The display shows the controller has homed correctly, but the subsequent beeps suggest something else is wrong.

It is possible the “Communication failure” refers to the serial link between the display panel and the controller inside the machine. The protective plastic film suggests it’s a new machine, but that is no guarantee it was assembled correctly: check all the connectors inside the machine to verify they’re firmly seated in their sockets.

The controller has a very limited ability to read USB drives. The 6445 manual cautions:

This system supports such file formats of Udisk as FAT32 and FAT16, but it can identify them when the files are put under the root directory of Udisk. The file name of more than 8 characters will automatically be cut out by the system. The file name that has only English letters and digits will not show when they are copied to the mainboard.

The last sentence suggests copying files from the USB drive to the internal flash memory may not produce the results you (and I) expect. There may be a translation error garbling the meaning, but there is no way to know other than by experimentation.

In addition to requiring FAT16 or FAT32 format, there seems to be a USB partition size limitation of about 16 GB, much smaller than most current drives. If you’re using a very large drive, perhaps finding and using a smaller one lost in the back of a drawer may improve the results.

This is kind of odd…

:smiley_cat:

We’re told “I use USB flashdisk communication”, which suggests the Ethernet jack isn’t connected. If that’s the case, then the display makes sense.

My KT332N just says Lan OFF in the status line when I start it without the Ethernet cable: no error message or other kvetching.

Will try. No USB was unpluged

Thy i will look for it. The machine is 3 years old but my OCD keeps me back from removing the protective film

Hello to everyone,

i found the problem. After i check all the wirings and undo necessary things to ruled out the problem, i was sure that the problem is with software. So i plug the PC in via USB-input and everything worked perfectly. So i try to plug the flashdik in one more time, the problem was same. But this time for some reason it wont kick me out of the memory menu. All the saved files was blinking via: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/utvo2pa0QDc and i saw my last file was saved half Czech half Chines. In hurry i delete it and like that, problem dissapear. So i im quite sure that the last file i saved was somehow corrupted and make all of these problems. After that i format the internal memory and “VOILA” everything get back to normal :man_shrugging:

And TBH Chines are terrible with wiring things xD

Thank you all to trying to help me with my problem♥
