Air assist is too low

Hi, I bought a Sculpfun S30 Ultra 22W. This is my third laser. Unfortunately, the included air pump with 30 L/min flow seems too weak – it scorches small elements.

I connected an Atomstack F60 pump (60 L/min) and the results are much, much better. However, this pump isn’t compatible with the laser and doesn’t work in automatic mode in LightBurn.

I’d like to replace the stock pump with something that has at least 60 L/min flow and can work automatically in LightBurn. Can you advise me how to do this?

You can connect relay to air assist port at controller instead of Sculpfun’s pump and control any air assist pump with it in LightBurn.

As shown in the link above, you can add a relay to the automatic output of the laser and connect any pump (or compressor) you like.

Though in my experience, the compressor of the S30 Ultra is usually quite sufficient. But it might depend on the use case and circumstances. Make sure to place the pump outside the enclosure, of course
