Alarm 1 and Alarm 3 Issued while engraving

Hello all,

I have an Omtech K40+ and when i am engraving, the machine just stops. I believe it is in the middle of the design, but I would have to take a look to other projects.
Anyways. I get this errors. can anyone help me?

But where is the laser head on the table?

Given: It is a Yaxis limit switch issue.

  1. Intermittent switch
  2. Intermittent wiring
  3. You are actually hitting a switch and need to adjust the program.

the laser head is also in the middle of the work area, so it doesn’t touch any limits.

A Hard Limit means the controller thinks a switch closed. It is either shorted wiring or the controller board input is bad.
