Alarm 1 hard limit triggered

I purchased recently an Atomstack A40 PRO V2 and I am receiving an error “Alarm 1 Hard Limit trigger” I have gone through the topics here and tried everything I could and I it has not fixed my problem. I went through the Louisiana Hobby guy (Rich) you tube video about this error and that did not resolve the issue. I Deleted the setup on the laptop and reinstalled…same issue. I even hooked of the new laser on my existing laptop that is running an Atomstack A10 laser and that I received the same error. I am pretty sure it is not a software issue. I am not sure what else to try to get my new laser up an running.

Any help is appreciated.

Since this is a recently purchased machine that, as far as I understand, hasn’t been used yet, and it’s showing the same error on two different computers, and you’ve already tried the documented suggestions without success, I would contact the manufacturer’s support because it appears to be a problem with the machine itself. It’s probably easy to fix, but if it’s under warranty, that’s what warranties are for, and you could lose the warranty if you alter anything without prior consent.

If you start a new Thread on the same subject, we lose the diagnostic history.

@Kuth is right. Like I mentioned in the other thread, it appears you have a defective X-limit switch.

If that’s the case, I ask a forum moderator to merge both threads.
Creating two threads on the same subject effectively does more harm than good.
Thanks for the heads-up @MikeyH
