ALARM:2 G-code motion target exceeds machine travel..Default origin is upper right

Hi everyone,

I’m new to the forum so please be understanding.

I have had a Ortur Laser Master pro 2 for almost 2 years. I recently bought a rotary and got it to work fine.
Now when I revert back to the normal laser
I get ALARM:2 G-code motion target exceeds machine travel and the origin starts at the upper right corner. When I hit home it goes back to the bottom left corner
I have tried everything I can think of.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would try homing it then in console type G10 L20 P1 X0 Y0 enter. But others here have a better grasp of coordinates than I do.

Thank you for the response. Headed to work will try first thing in the morning

Check your Rotary Setup window too.

Rotary Off

Will do.

Which one?

  • G10 L20 P1 X0 Y0
  • Enable rotary button

The “ G10 L20 P1 X0 Y0 “
