Longer B1 - Extended bed - 40 W
LB V1.7.08

tried it a couple of times, looked for similar issues, but for v1.4.x. and settings to correct were different

how do i correct this?

You didn’t show the laser tab which would be helpful in determining the issue.

What does the preview window show with the ‘show traversal moves’ selected.

I think you answered my question… the traversal moves exceeded the bounds of the bed…

you can close this issue, i am going to open another one for another issue

Perfect, that’s what I was expecting you to find, but I wanted to see if you were in Absolute Coordinates or a different start from mode.
The preview window is your friend, use it often.

but when transversal moves exceed the limits, shouldn’t the software see this and flag a warning?

Do you have these enabled?

both were turned on

I don’t know then. I just double checked on my system. With the OOB warning enabled I get a popup stating may be out of bounds due to overscan when I hit send. If I turn the warning off I get the error 2.

if the object is physically out of the cutting area, i get a warning, but if the overscan is out of bounds, no such warning.. are you using 1.7.08 on windows?

That is the Ignore out-of-bounds shapes if possible warning in Editor Settings.

The Enable ‘Out of Bounds’ warning in Device Settings addresses the overscan.

You said you have the extended bed. Do your settings in Lightburn match your bed correctly? Did you swap the X/Y output to laser?

With that machine 1.7.07 on Wndows.
