Alarm 2 in lightburn monport k40

yesterday I started getting this alarm. I have tried changing settings in the book and still nothing. I cleared everything I know to clear, reinstalled lightburn and it still pops up. It will home and that is it. Hopefully i am just a dumb new user and its something i missed.
I have a monport k40

What “Start from” are you using
Absoluet coordintes?

can you post a full screenshot of your lightburn?

is this what you need? I have tried all the origins and it seems to make no difference

You must be in current position or used defined Start From
Change to absolute coordinates

post a Screenshot image of your lightburn

Change here to Absolute coordintes

Follow up read that is important:

It still throws the alarm 2 when i try to frame or burn

Your image does not show any selection in the workspace. Can you upload the Lightburn file?

it hasn’t made any difference what project i try it throw same alarm

Let me try again…

I meant the .lbrn2 file with a project that fails in it. Your last post is the GRBL parameters.

I dont know what you are looking for. every project fail now. It will not come off home for anything.

That is a different kind of problem. I was looking for the possibility of your part being at the edge of your workspace and overscan causing a problem.

It now sounds like you have a coordinate setting issue. If Home works, motion control is still working.

Enter these one at a time in the Console window. We already have $$:
$I
$#
$G
?

Now copy-paste the output in the Console window in your reply.

When a Forum member asks for you to do something, you should not worry about why unless they are asking for personal or proprietary info. This shows your project completed at least 1 pass. Is this what you saw?

Something like this sometimes indicates a communications issue, like a bad USB cable. Bad communications can give you a whole batch of misleading symptoms, often appearing random. Do you have another USB cable you can swap in?

I was looking for the possibility of a workspace offset causing your problem.

have swapped the cable and still same. it homes and does nothing else. I think I either have a bad board or something in software is corrupt. I attempted using it with a different computer but I think it read the info off card and gave me the same alarm 2 code.It did not complete any passes I do appreciate your helping

have you done what i said and done it in absolute coordenates?
Next picture you sent was still in user origin
