That’s a very rare alarm code. What are you doing? Remember, the S10 has no limit switches and therefore cannot home, as long as you didn’t add some.
This is seen most often when a user accidentally selects the incorrect device type. Please ensure that you have a GRBL profile selected.
If you have a settings file (.lbset) or a device profile file (.lbdev) I can assist you with importing it.
Without either file, Open the Laser window and click the Devices button. Click the Find My Laser button. If that doesn’t work, click “Create Manually”
The next most common error is turning on Enable GCode Clustering - this switch should be turned off.
To confirm that it’s off, click Edit (along the top row), then Device settings (toward the bottom of the list).
It’s the second-last switch on the right. Turn it off, and click OK at the bottom of the Device Settings window.

They say it’s probably the motherboard.

No offense, but hardware is usually not the cause of such errors. In my experience, it’s 95% user error, typically. So if you could provide some screenshots, we might be able to solve it as well. Sculpfun will be out of business for the next two weeks due to the Chinese holidays.

Entered the error at the bottom of the command and it worked.

I do not follow, but I would like to know what the cure was.
Was the selected device type incorrect or was it related to GCode Clustering (in Device Settings)? (or something else?)
