ALARM:9 error en el ciclo de autoguiado (ALARM:9 error in autohoming cycle)

Because in most cases, it’s not the motherboard. Please exactly describe your problem.

It may be worth testing the following:

Unplug the Y-Axis switch and request the status report by typing:
?
in the Console window in LightBurn again. (as you have already done)

With the switch unplugged, the Y-Axis will report the switch as triggered if you have Normally Closed limit switch. This would suggest that you look for a broken wire on the X-Axis switch.

If the Y-Axis switch does not show triggered when disconnected, you are working with Normally Open limit switches. This would suggest that you look for a short circuit on the X-Axis Switch or unplug the X-Axis switch to see if the open circuit changes the status report.

Sitting in front of the laser engraver, The X-Axis is the laser module on the Gantry and moves left to right. The Y-Axis moves the whole gantry.

The X-Axis switch is on the module or on the gantry. This is the switch that is triggered. You should look here first.

Fortunately, the company responded to me, I changed the card and that was not the solution, I have done all the tests that they have told me and nothing, what I realized is that the red LED light on the motherboard is flashing, so I am getting the cables to see if that’s the solution

@JohnJohn said in the text above it is usually not the motherboard (controller). If you want to find a solution to your problem, please follow his instructions.

Show a video how it looks like. I don’t get what you mean by flashing lights.

No sé cómo mandar un video :frowning: pero cambie el adaptador de corriente y otra placa y ya funconó sin problema, afortunadamente la empresa sculpfun me contesto en todo momento

I don’t know how to send a video :frowning: but I changed the power adapter and another board and it worked without a problem, fortunately the company sculpfun answered me at all times

Glad you have it running. I found Sculpfun is fairly responsive, which is kind of rare.
