Alarm 9 message

Just got my new Atomstack 40 Pro recognised on Lightburn run it for the first time (3 times) and keep getting this message.

ALARM:9

Homing fail. Could not find limit switch within search distance. Defined as 1.5 * max_travel on search and 5 * pulloff on locate phases.

That means it’s not triggering the limit switches. Do you have auto home on startup enabled? If so, disable it for now. Does your machine have limit switches? Does the laser head move toward the limit switches when attemptimng to home?
Please post a screenshot (not a cell phone pic) of your entire Lightburn screen with your project loaded and the Cuts/Layers Panel and Laser Panel visible. Also post a screenshot of the Settings Window (Gears icon) with the Units and Grids tab visible and post a screenshot of the Device Settings Window (Wrench and Screwdriver icon).

Thanks for your response Tim, I only got this Atomstack 40 Pro yesterdayto replace my 5watt one and I really don’t know anything about it only that it seems complicated compared to the last one. It seems to be working ok I have tried a test cut and it returns home after, I was mainly worried if it would do any damage when I saw the message. I will try and get together the info you asked for , I’m not completely sure how to do that either so it may take a little time. Thanks again.
