When using Lightburn with General Setting > Units/Grids is st to use: Inches / mm/min
There is an alignment issue doing lettering and while tying to “offset-fill” a circle
The issue corrects itself by switching back to just “mm/min”

The grid and snap distances retain their numeric values when you switch from mm/min
to Inches / mm/min
, so the they may now be 25.4 times farther apart than you expect: a perfectly serviceable 0.5 mm snap grid becomes a rather coarse half-inch grid.
Switching from mm/min
to Inches/min
does the conversion you’d (well, I’d) expect for the snap grids, because everything is now measured in the same units.
