I’m a newbie and can’t figure out how to align my Longer B1 30W home position with the starting point on my project. I’m eyeballing it as best I can, but shouldn’t there be a way to “test fire” a light, without power, to see exactly where the starting point of the laser is?
Are you familiar with the function of the Fire button in Move window? It will allow you to turn the laser on to help position it.
Additionally, are you using the ability to turn the laser on when framing?
Enable Fire button and Framing with laser in Edit->Device Settings.

Thanks! I’ve enabled the fire button and framing, however I don’t see the laser light.
Did you change the power level in Move window accordingly? Set to the lowest level that allows you to see what you’re doing with your safety goggles on.
