Hi all, I am a month or so into using Lightburn, which is a awesome program and easy to use…although I cant seem to find a simple eraser function. I have used deleting modes which is extremely time consuming and frustrating for a simple task and not all Booleans achieve the result needed. Sometimes I just give up on a project. Am I missing this function of an Eraser? Thanks
This thread might help answer your question.
LightBurn does not currently offer an eraser tool, as you may be thinking. We offer several ways to edit shapes as you need. In node edit mode, hovering over a selected shape and hitting ‘D’ will delete either the line or point your cursor is over.
You can select multiple nodes at a time, then delete all selected. There is also a ‘Trim’ tool to assist in editing nodes.
Additionally, we offer a ‘Cut Shapes’ tool as well, which can be very helpful in these cases.
