I installed milliamp meter and when starts burning file , the meter pegs out past 50.
It burns allright and only have power set at 10. I have checked wiring, watch videos on how to do the wiring. Maybe i got a bad meter .80watt, red and black machine .What you guys think?

If you were pushing >50ma to the tube, it would last… not long.
I cut the black wire from outside of laser tube down at the power supply, The meter had on one side marked negative. That side i wired to the p/s side after i cut the black wire. The black wire that was
coming from laser tube went on other side of meter positive.

That’s a 50 micro amp meter. Not milli. It’s 1,000x more sensitive.
