I’m using LightBurn 2. What happened to Machine Settings under Edit?
I have a Longer B1 30 and am getting Alarm:8 Homing Fail. The limit switches look fine. The only help I’ve found says Edit Machine Settings, then increase both the Homing Debounce and Homing pull-off settings. I can’t find those settings. I know my laser is connected because I can move it from LightBurn, but I get errors with Home and Frame. HELP!!!
Machine Settings is under the Laser Tools menu now.
You are correct. The only help video I could find said it was under the Edit menu. Lightburn needs to stop moving things around; it just makes older help videos useless.
Unfortunately it was useless anyway. I still have the homing and framing problem.
But all is not lost. The upgrade to 2.0.03 cleared up a bunch of issues, but not all. Try importing a .lbprefs (preferences backup) file dated just prior to the day of your update. This should restore your workspace boundaries.
